- Set wax heater to High for 15–25 minutes until the wax reaches a creamy, syrup-like consistency, then switch to Low to maintain the temperature.
- Always test the wax temperature on the inside of your wrist before applying to the client.
- Cleanse the treatment area and dry thoroughly with a tissue.
- Lightly dust the area with powder to ensure the skin is completely dry.
- Apply a thin layer of wax at a 45° angle in the direction of hair growth. When working near the eyes, ensure the client keeps their eyes closed.
- Place a waxing strip over the wax and rub firmly in the direction of hair growth.
- Hold the skin taut and remove the strip quickly in the opposite direction of hair growth, keeping the strip parallel to the skin.
- Immediately apply firm pressure to the treated area using your fingers or palm to help calm the skin.
- Do not reapply wax to freshly waxed areas.
